SAC-560 Smart Axis Controller
Characteristics:
This type of equipment is not something we have sold
before. We don't know much about it. This is what I know.
The API piece is an AC servo driver with an integrated
indexer. It can accept digital step and direction inputs and its
feedback loop is obviously with an encoder. There are also hall
sensor inputs and maybe a servo reference control input and output (analog
control).
The Parker Compumotor piece is a stepper controller. I am not sure if
it was used with the API piece. If they were used together,
the Parker unit was probably the controller, acting like a PLC or computer
for the servo driver. I believe the Syntax piece is an indexer.
The API controller has an AC input which is uncommon.
Parker is a really good stepper controller.
